After an on again, off again couple of months we finally were able to get a crew up to the Haleakala Crater in support of the DLNRs’ Silver Sword planting trip.
Previously mother nature and human nature required us to re-schedule twice. Mother nature with her much anticipated and needed week of rain that washed out the roads, and human nature with conflicting schedules. In fact Cara and I were not able to attend this event due to an unplanned and avoidable trip to the mainland. But through the efforts of “Kula Lance” he was able to pull it all together.
